Florida man dies in car accident
A Milton man died Wednesday from injuries he suffered in an April 30 accident on U.S. 29 in the Gonzalez area.
Alfred Youtzy, 34, was thrown from a Ford pick up that crashed on U.S. 29, south of Archer Road.
He was not wearing a seatbelt, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Youtzy died at Sacred Heart Hospital.
The accident happened as Youtzy drove north on U.S. 29. Youtzy lost control of the truck, and it went off the road, FHP said.
After coming back onto the road, the truck started to spin. It then flipped three times, the Highway Patrol said.
The truck ended up in the grassy median, and Youtzy was ejected.
Joseph Ross, 35, of Pensacola, a passenger in the truck, suffered minor injuries, the patrol said.
He was wearing a seat belt, the Highway Patrol said.
