Man injured in Seneca County farm accident
A Michigan man was injured last night during a farming accident in Junius, Seneca County.
Vidal V. Rodriguez, 53, of Strockbridge, Mich., was flown to Strong Memorial Hospital by Mercy Flight yesterday after he was injured at 996 Birdsey Road, just before 7 p.m., according to Seneca County sheriff’s deputies. Rodriguez was transferring anhydrous ammonia between tanks, and while disconnecting a hose, some anhydrous ammonia splashed on him and burned his face, deputies said.
Rodriguez today is listed in satisfactory condition, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
