$965,000.00 CONFIDENTIAL SETTLEMENT. A seventy eight year-old mother of five was tragcially killed in this horrible and preventable accident in Miami-Dade County.   This case was filed in Miami-Dade Circuit Court.   For three (3) years the Defendant refused to offer a single dollar on this hotly contested case.  It was unil the the parties reached the courthouse steps that the Defendant decided it was responsible for causing the tragic loss a mother of five.
